Do You Trust Me?

Trust, trust, trust - you always hear that this is one of the most important factors in any relationship and we couldn’t agree more. But let’s be honest, how many of us actually know a FUN way to build trust? This time around, we’re going to spruce things up. No serious conversation, no trust falls (thank GOD), and no trust walks.

This time, we’re getting kinky and dirty (in the kitchen).

Here’s what you’ll Need:

The concept is simple, one partner will be the trustee and the other will be the trusted and it is the Trusteds job to provide adequate, proper, precise and sometime silly guide and direction for baking the pie. Not sure how to designate who’s filling which role? Ro-Sham-Bo to find out who will be blindfolded!

Once your partner is blindfolded, the challenge begins - to shave some time, you can opt to have some, most or all materials needed ready and available on the counter before you begin. Otherwise, it could take 30 minutes to dig through the pantry and cabinets for all the ingredients, mixing bowls, blender, utensils, etc. True test of patience, yafeelme?

Here’s the Pie Recipe we used: Cinnamon Crumble Apple Pie

Pro Tip: Most pies take about an hour to cook (some of the recipes we found even requested for a 2+ HOUR baking time… like, what in all the world? Who’s got time for that!?) Anyway, you’ll end up having some down time while you’re waiting for the pie to bake. What you do with this time is completely up to you. Get as creative and fun (or wild) as you’d like. We’re recommending a SFW option: our favorite board game and our favorite card game

Not feeling that adventurous or short on time? You can always make a homemade pizza instead or truly anything your little heart desires. HIGHLY recommend you avoid any and all recipes that require cutting, 'cause ya know, safety concerns. Also, we like it better when we cook something nothing of us have ever made before.
